Merhaba! My name is Irmina. This year I finished high school in Poland and decided to embark on an adventure as a volunteer. The organization was chosen and it was the time to fly to Izmir. The purpose was to find meaning in life, but is it even possible?

Looking back in time, one month full of adventures and challenges already passed. How did that happen so fast?

My name is Emilie. I am a 27-year-old French woman who decided to take a break from my job to discover other cultures. I got wind of Pi Youth Association from a friend, originally from Izmir. She sold me the city, the country and the association so well that an idea started to grow in my mind.

Hello, my name is Justus. I am 18 years old, and I came to Izmir after finishing high school in Germany this year. I have been living in Izmir for seven weeks now, and although I am still in the early stages of my twelve-month stay, I already have a lot to share.

Merhaba! My name is Nina, I am from Paris, in France. I am 24 years old and I have just finished my studies. I first did a degree in sociology and then a Master’s in local development and international solidarity.

Merhaba dear reader! I am Ida, an 18-year-old German who just graduated from high school and is currently volunteering with Pi Youth Association in Izmir, Türkiye. I have been here for one and a half month and I will stay for a full year.
