Between July 1 and August 6, the Unity project took place in Romania with participants from Romania, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Jordan. The project aimed to provide support to children and young refugees who have been affected by conflict, with the help of local youth, while also emphasizing the importance of having a home and the power of a sense of belonging.
Participants engaged in an activity called “Giant Doll House,” where they built doll houses using shoeboxes. This creative exercise was designed to make people reflect on their own living environments and raise awareness about homelessness and refugee issues. These awareness efforts are planned to reach a broader audience through the exhibition of the created works in 5 physical and 5 virtual exhibitions. Below, you can explore the virtual exhibition related to this project and view the artworks created.
